Veterinary requirements
What vaccinations does my dog need to have to come to daycare?
The dog must be vaccinated with the mandatory annual vaccines, as well as with the Kennel Cough and Rabies vaccines. The registration card must be up to date.
Do I need to bring my vaccination card every time?
Yes, it is mandatory to bring the registration card every time the dog stays at the daycare.
Is any antiparasitic treatment needed?
Yes, you must wear an anti-parasite collar (Escalibur or Seresto) and a recently fitted pipette. In addition, during mosquito season (May to October), anti-mosquito spray must also be applied.
What documentation do I need to bring in addition to the registration card?
A copy of the dog’s chip certificate.
What happens if my dog needs veterinary care during his stay?
It will be taken to its regular veterinarian or, in the event of an emergency, to a nearby veterinary hospital. The costs are the responsibility of the owner.
Adaptation and socialization
Is the visit mandatory for all dogs?
Yes. Everyone must go through the pre-filter before entering the daycare.
How does the first visit work?
A walk is taken with other dogs and then the dog visits the house without a guardian. This helps to assess its adaptation.
What dogs can access the daycare?
Only sociable dogs with males and females, that can coexist without conflicts and with manageable anxiety levels.
Do you accept any breed?
No. Breeds with high jaw powers are not accepted to ensure the well-being of the group.
Is it mandatory to adapt the daycare?
Yes, adaptation daycares are held so that the dog gets to know the space and the dynamics. The number of sessions will depend on each case.
What type of leash and harness should be worn?
Flexi leashes or Julius type harnesses are not allowed. All dogs must wear harnesses so they cannot escape and dogs that pull while walking must wear anti-pull harnesses like DOGCOPENHAGEN which have a ring on the chest and back.
Do dogs have air conditioning or heating?
Yes. In the summer there are fans and air conditioning, and in the winter there is heating.
What are the nursery hours?
Morning time to leave alone so we can go for a walk with everyone (we don’t go out at night) at 8:30 p.m. Outside of these hours, there is a €5 supplement.
Can I bring toys?
You don’t need to bring toys. Just the bed, food, dishes, leash, book, prizes and bags.
Cancellation policy
Can the payment and signal be recovered if I cancel?
Only if cancelled more than 7 days in advance. Otherwise, no refund.
When is the service paid for?
50% is paid after the first visit to reserve, and the rest on the day of the start of the stay.
How can I pay?
You can pay both by Bizum and by cash.
What happens if the dog doesn't adapt?
If during the adaptation it is detected that you cannot stay, the deposit will be returned.
Do I need to notify you before bringing my dog?
Yes, you must always notify and confirm the conditions beforehand.
PPP dogs and behaviors
Do you accept dogs considered PPP?
Dogs with high jaw powers are not accepted, for safety and logistical reasons.
What happens if my dog pulls on the leash a lot?
You must wear an anti-pull harness. If you can’t control it well, you won’t be able to stay.
Do you accept dogs with behavioral problems?
Only if they can manage within the dynamics of the daycare and have made a positive adaptation.
Could my dog be afraid or anxious?
Yes, but you need to be able to manage it with activities and prior adaptation.
Can behavior improvement activities be carried out?
Yes. As an educator, I offer emotional work and behavior management sessions.
