Dog daycare

DOG DAYCARE INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION

I have 12 years of experience walking and daycare dogs at home and for 4 years I have been a Canine Educator specializing in mental stimulation and olfactory techniques such as Sports Detection and Mantrailing to reduce contained energy, stress, anxiety and insecurities, through games we will cover our dog’s needs for better well-being. I am self-employed and I dedicate myself 100% to this activity.

I do daycare at home for a maximum of 5 dogs and I work without cages. There is a filter when accepting dogs, as I will only be able to care for dogs that are sociable with males and females and know how to live together in the same space. At home, they all sleep in the dining room.

I also take into account the dog’s anxiety level, since high levels of anxiety or nervousness within the home can be passed on to other dogs. They must be able to manage being in daycare with the tools that are proposed, such as long walks and the corresponding adaptations.

Dog size up to medium and ppp breeds or others that may have a large difference in jaw power will not be accepted and thus avoid accidents, also for logistical reasons and because I do not work with cages.

The dogs will be at home so they have heating in the winter, fans and air conditioning in the spring-summer.

When I don’t know the dog there is a first visit. A walk with you and other dogs in the park so you can tell us more about the dog and then we go home (without the tutor) for a first impression to see how the dog adapts, in 10-15 minutes. FIRST VISIT FREE.

It is mandatory to do some adaptation daycare so that the dog spends a few hours with us and adapts to us and sees the dynamics that their guardians will eventually bring. This way we make it easier for them to manage the daycare. The amount will depend on each dog. Some with 1-2 already adapt very well, others need a few more to be calm. The prices of these daycares vary depending on the hours that the dog stays.

It is an essential requirement that they are vaccinated, apart from the mandatory annual vaccines, against Kennel Cough and Rabies (you must show your registration card each time).

When we provide the daycare service, you will need to bring a bed or blanket, food, food dish, prizes, non-flexible leash, bags to collect litter, toys not required and a primer.

To help dogs manage their first daycares, I advise you to bring some natural reward, such as beef nerve or canned meat, to give them at specific times to make it easier for them to eat and relax.

It is very important that they give it a good brushing before leaving it.

CONDITIONS and RULES OF SERVICE

  • Every time the dog stays at home, it must bring the registration card (which must be up to date with the vaccines, and must have been vaccinated at least 15 days before the daycare so that there is no risk that they may have a virus that could affect other dogs) and anti-parasite treatment, as well as a copy of the chip certificate.
  • S’abonarà el 50% de la guarderia quan s’hagi fet la primera visita i vulguin reservar dates, si en les adaptacions veiem que no s’adapta es tornarà la paga i senyal.
  • You can pay the amount by bizum or cash. You will provide us with your personal details to be able to carry out the corresponding registration.
  • The daycare fee will be paid on the day the dog is dropped off, at the beginning of their stay.
  • Cancellation policy.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the agreed delivery date will not be entitled to a refund of the deposit.

  • You will need to talk to your trusted veterinarian, explaining that you are going away for a few days and we will take care of the dog. In the event that something happens, we will take it to your veterinarian and you will be able to pay for the services to your veterinarian yourself, upon your return from your vacation.
  • If it is an emergency we will go directly to PATÍ VETERINARY HOSPITAL (daytime hours 8.00-20.00). For night emergencies ANICURA MEDITERRANI VETERINARY HOSPITAL in Reus or BOFARULL in La Canonja. All veterinary expenses will be borne by the owner. (We will contact you beforehand).
  • The dog must wear an anti-tick collar such as Escalibur or Seresto for everyone’s hygiene and a pipette (which we put on or we can tell him that it has been put on that day) and during mosquito seasons (May to October) an anti-mosquito spray to prevent mosquito bites.
  • All dogs must wear a harness, it is much safer than a collar and they must wear a tag with their name and phone number, (JULIUS type harnesses are not accepted because they can slip away)
  • If the dog pulls on the leash, it must wear a HALTI/DOGCOPENAGHEN anti-pull harness. Because if they are dogs that do not have good leash management, it will be unfeasible for me to have them as a daycare since I have to leave the house with 4 dogs with peace of mind and total safety. Flexi leashes or JULIUS harnesses are not accepted.
  • Any damage or breakage caused by the dog will be the responsibility of the owner.
  • Daycare hours from sunrise (since we always start with a walk with all the dogs and we don’t leave at night until 8:30 p.m.). Services outside of these hours will have a supplement of 5 euros.

We inform you that we have a Facebook page and Instagram profile where you can see the photos of the dogs with the name reporting our services. In case you do not want your pet to appear, please let us know in writing and we will respect your order.
